Our first season of The Shapes features the band’s six brand new music videos starring Red Triangle, Blue Square, Yellow Circle and Pink Oval. Featuring the vocals of Timothy Nelson, Matt Lovkis, Ofa Fotu and Gemma Sharpe. After premiering on ABCME an ABC iview in 2016, the entire series is now available on YouTube, Facebook, Spotify and iTunes!

The Shapes won BEST OF THE FEST at Next Gen Webfest 2017, BEST KIDS and BEST ANIMATION at the Online Video Awards 2017, BEST AUSTRALIAN ANIMATION at Melbourne Webfest 2016 and OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN ANIMATION at the WA Screen Awards 2016. It received a roaring, rock concert response from hundreds of school kids when it was screened at CINÉFESTOZ 2016 and was also an OFFICIAL SELECTION at St Kilda Film Festival 2017.

The Shapes were ‘manufactured’ by the evil Sludge Records to brainwash kids with mind-numbing music. But they rebelled, destroying their squeaky clean image on live TV. Nowadays, the band are living in the basement of their manager’s family home and just making ends meet. Playing live elevator music, scaring rats out of sewers or rescuing Red’s guitar from an evil cult is all in a day’s work. In each episode, The Shapes spring into action chasing an odd job, new gig, personal need or obscure opportunity. But instead of ‘getting ahead’, they’re diverted into outlandish escapades that totally disrupt their world and their friendships, always ending in surreal chaos that lands The Shapes right back where they started.

We are currently exploring Australian and international opportunities for a longer form season of The Shapes.
Feel free to email Lauren at to discuss production and distribution opportunities.
